Although Apple’s phone is known to be a lag free, high-performing product, we all come across some issues sometimes. We face problems with Bluetooth connectivity, internet connectivity, performance of the device, and battery life, of course the iPhone screen which are prone to cracks.
These issues can be fixed easily. Here are a few tips that can help you save a lot of time and frustrating moments.
Slow performance
Have you installed a cool new multiplayer game and just can’t get your iPhone to respond fast enough? Are you trying to multitask and struggling because your cellphone can’t keep up with the pace?
Whenever your iPhone slows down, think about the memory all the running apps are taking. In order to cruise smoothly, close all the apps that you don’t necessarily need or free up your phone storage.
Double press the home button to preview all the running apps. Close all the extra ones. Even the ones in suspended mode take up a lot of memory sometimes because they are allowed to respond to notifications.
If necessary, restart your device after you’ve closed all the apps. This will further boost the device’s performance.
Slow internet connectivity
iPhone has a way of getting latched to a slower internet connection. Sometimes, even when you’ve selected a specific connection as your preference, it connects to some other one.
You will sometimes notice that you connect your phone with an LTE connection and after a while, it connected itself with a 4G or EDGE connection.
To get the iPhone fix, switch to Airplane mode. This will disconnect you from any internet access point. Wait for a few seconds to ensure you’re completely disconnected from all radio sources.
Switch off the Airplane mode. Now, your device will search for all the available Wi-Fi devices. Then, it will connect with the fastest one available.
No response from the device
Okay, so this is a bit more annoying than the other problems. Sometimes, phone software stops working for some reason. The display is frozen, and you can’t give the phone any command.
There can be many reasons for the unresponsiveness of your phone. It can be due to low-quality apps, complete drainage of battery or high memory consuming websites.
To get your device back to normal, try restarting it. You might need to connect it to the power source for 30 minutes before you can do it.
For restarting the device, simultaneously press down the power button and the home button for a few seconds. The screen will go blank. After a few seconds, the device will spring back to life and hopefully start responding.
Small Battery Life
If a smartphone lacks in something, it’s the insufficient battery life. Like all the other smartphones out there, phone needs to improve on the battery life.
If you notice that your battery discharges faster than usual, however, then it’s a problem associated with some third-party app. It might also be because you’ve upgraded to iOS 9.2.
You can delete the apps causing the problem. However, if you’re battery problems started after the upgrade, then there’s little that you can do about it. The bug has still not been fixed.
